This is a 1995 Acura Legend that has been maintained in excellent condition. Before continuing further with this listing do understand there is mechanical work required to bring this to optimal running condition. The car has BHG (Blown Head Gasket) and also requires replacement of the A/C compressor to make the cooling system operational. An excellent find for mechanics or Legend enthusiast who can work on the car or who have a bit to spend to make this a pristine Legend. If still interested, read on:
Body
The car's body and paint are in EXCELLENT condition, you will be hard pressed to find a Legend with original paint in the condition depicted in the pictures. There are a few minor scratches on the rear bumper as depicted in photos but otherwise the paint and body are in excellent condition. This is a florida owned car so no rust visible on under carriage.
Engine
While the car does have 225,000 miles on it, the engine was replaced at 172,000 miles with a Acura certified ATK rebuilt engine (it carried a 36k warranty that has since expired). The temp gage has never been pegged on this 2nd engine for I know the symptoms of a BHG and would never drive the car with the temp gage half way. All major work engine work for this car was done at the dealership or an Acura certified technician (records available upon request). As mentioned in the header a new compressor and condenser are needed to make the A/C operational (it went out just prior to the overheating issues later diagnosed to be the head gasket). I've had the work for this quoted at $850.
Interior
Leather in rear is in excellent condition with one small tear in seat (depicted in photo). Front driver seat bottom was recently re-upholstered and both front seats re-died. There are some stains on the carpet and floor mats but some shampooing efforts would help greatly. The 6 disc cd changer as to be expected is non-operational but if you were to keep this car in factory condition, I've seen replacement changers quoted as low as $200.

For someone looking to pay for repairs right out on this. The work required to get the head gasket redone at the stealership was quoted to be $2500 2 years ago(you can obviously get this done for a lot less with a decent mechanic). Add that to buy it now cost of $1275 and $850 for A/C you are looking at a well maintained 95 legend with just over 50K miles on the engine, with new A/C for $4625. The car is city driveable at low speeds without over-heating but highway travel or excessive driving will cause temp. to rise. I have not driven the car more than 10 miles since BHG diagnosed.
