I'm going to try and spell out everything I know good and bad so that you can make an informed decision. Feel free to email questions and if you want to call and ask just email us and we will give you our number.
I'm going to outline the problems that exist as we know them:
- There is an oil leak. I believe it is an oil pan gasket that needs to be changed. But I'm not a certified mechanic so its my opinion only.
- The tires on the passenger side need to be replaced. They went flat over the winter and developed cracks in them.
- Because the car has been sitting it has some surface rust on the rotors. I drove it up and down the block and it seemed to wear most of it off so I'd recommend wire brushing them. The brakes were fully replaced a few years ago and the car hasn't had many miles put on it since.
- I got a cassette stuck in the radio and didn't want to yank it out and cause further damage--this might only be minor issue with my tape..
Here is the good stuff:
- leather interior
- 96644 miles--and not a car that has been beat on. My mother has owned the car for around 8 years.
- the stereo is concert sound II
- IT has a CD/Tape player radio
- cruise with cruise and radio controls on the steering wheel
- heated seats
- sunroof
- power windows and locks
- dual power seats
- airbags
- traction control
- 3600 engine
- fog lights
- gran touring suspension
The car is very clean with no interior issues. Same goes for the trunk. No one has ever smoked in it etc. Like I mentioned, it was driven all those years by an older woman so it wasn't abused.
Because of the issue with the need for two new tires I would not recommend driving the car. So I'd recommend you either pick it up on a trailer, tow it or ship it. Thanks.
