HERE'S THE 1958 IMPERIAL CROWN 4-DOOR SEDAN YOU'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR. Maybe this Imperial is just like the car your old man once owned, when you were in junior high. And maybe you've always wanted to fix one up, just like it, to honor his memory. JUST IMAGINE HOW PLEASED HE WOULD BE IF YOU ROLLED INTO HIS DRIVEWAY ONE DAY, BEHIND THE WHEEL OF THIS MONUMENT...TO THE WONDERFUL OLD MAN TO WHOM YOU OWE ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. Picture handing him the keys, and saying 'Thanks, Dad...it's been a helluva ride...!" And here she is, in all her faded glory. Now, at last, you can build and restore a running, driving monument to your father. Now you can show the old man how profoundly you respect him, and how deeply you care about him. AS YOU CAN SEE, THIS OLD GAL'S DUSTY. DIRTY. SUN-BAKED. AND FADED. Nevertheless, she's an UN-molested, UN-restored sadly-neglected virgin languishing in the Arizona desert....just waiting to be resurrected.... Start your restoration with a clean canvas. A fresh palette. You won't be chagrined by somebody else' amateurish attempts at restoration. You won't have to get rid of the last guy's lousy work to do right by this Imperial. No, sir. You'll be the first guy to ever romance this curvaceous hemi-powered, three-ton Virgil Exner masterpiece. And boy, will she ever be grateful for the attention! With most restorations, it's imperative, first, to UN-do what the last guy did. But not in this case; you'll be going where no man has gone since this once-magnificent Imperial rolled down the assembly line fifty years ago. Bought new at Beaudry's, in Tucson, Arizona, this elegant femme fatale has had a couple of lovers over the years; men who simply drove her, but never abused her, and did not harm her. I snatched this Imperial from the jaws of the crusher 20 years ago, at a junkyard in Tucson. But my grandiose plans to restore her have been vanquished by the relentless march of time...and a vast army of flesh-eating bankers. So I now invite YOU to grab the torch and run with it. The stone-stock, all-original 392 hemispherical-combustion-chamber V8 turns freely, and the car will run....there's not a scintilla of doubt about that! Call me with your questions! My name's Johnny Rosen, and I'm in Phoenix, Arizona. This car's at my own home...and you're welcome to drop by to check it out!
