This is a beautiful 1964 Chrysler New Yorker. It is all original. This is a good survivor car that appears to have only been repainted once. It has a Chrysler 413 V8 engine with 4 barrel carb, power steering, power brakes, factory air, and pushbutton automatic transmission. It will fly down the highway like a scalded dog. It is like riding on a cloud of air. The original buyer exercised the option of not having an AM radio installed, so there is no radio. The odomater works, but the speed indicator on the speedometer needs to be fixed. Speedometers for this car can be easily found online. The exterior is metallic blue and the interior is blue vinyl with a cloth insert. It has the ovalsteering wheel featured on some Chryslers of that era. There is only a little rust around the VIN tags, but it is only surface rust. There are also a few tiny pits in the chrome on the right side. This car would make an excellent car to completely restore because it is in good shape already. I am only selling this car because I bought 2 vintage cars and can only keep one. I bought this car from a gentleman in Arizona who indicated to me that it had had two previous owners. I welcome and encourage you to call with any questions that you may have. I want the buyer to be happy with this car. Please call Roy at 318-281-5395. I am usually home after 7:00 Central Time. If I don't answer, leave a message, and I will call you back. The winner of this auction may pick up the car in Bastrop, Louisiana or may arrange shipping. I will be glad to assist in making shipping arrangements. The winner must pay a $500.00 deposit through PayPal within 72 hours of the end of the auction. The remaining must be paid with a certified cashiers check and then the car will be released. The car is for sale locally. I reserve the right to end the auction early. I might also be willing to discuss a trade.
