The exterior is an elegant color called Champagne. The interior leather is a nice matching Tan. The convertible top is a Dark Brown and the boot cover over the convertible top when it is down is also Tan to match the leather interior as shown in the pictures.

Not only is this Jaguar easy on the gas, the 6 cylinder version is known to be very reasonably maintained and does NOT have the expensive maintenance reputation of it's V-12 counterpart and commonly experienced for all of the V-12 model years ranging from 1988 - 1995. The 6 cylinder engine makes it easy to consider owning a Jaguar XJS, which is why Jaguar made the well known well publicized change in 1994 making the 6 cylinder the standard motor to the delight of many.
Because of a comment/question I received regarding fuel and fuel efficiency I offer this statement for further clarification. The 26 MPG has been my own personal experience driving straight and level in the good weather/wind conditions at approximately 55 miles per hour cruising speed on the freeway and without any stop or go traffic. Of course, if you personally drive faster or in significantly different weather/wind conditions you may experience less favorable fuel economy, perhaps in the range of 22-24 MPG. Of course we don't enjoy life based on gas mileage alone but remember, even the long haul truckers are slowing down to increase their fuel economy. Furthermore, while the owner's manual does prescribe the ideal of Premium Unleaded gasoline for the XJS, the vehicle does indeed run great on Regular Unleaded. Jaguar service departments will tell you that this is a completely acceptable practice for the 6 cylinder engine. Therefore you will likely experience, as I have, that this 6 cylinder Jaguar is very reasonable on the gas.

As a family we have owned several of these exotic beauties over the past several years and have enjoyed them all. This past year my precious wife informed me that she had decided that she wanted an XJS in a different color. Imagine that. Well, I found and purchased for her the XJS in her desired color earlier this spring, a similarly equipped (6 cylinder) 1995 XJS in the very rare shade of Rose Bronze Metallic (only 50 made). In a nutshell, my wife's request for a change of color is why we are parting with our 1994 model in this auction offering. So you can be assured that in all other respects we have been completely happy with our 1994 XJS and it has no issues that need to be attended to. Personally, I like the champagne color of our (eBay offered) XJS far better than my wife's new one but alas, I am not the one driving the car. I'm sure you understand. I emphasize again that the 6 cylinder model is known to be far less expensive to maintain than the 12 cylinder XJS model and, as you may imagine, the 6 cylinder is also far more economical on the gas which becomes a more important part of the buying decision these days as the cost of fuel rises.
As to this being a very collectible automobile, the Jaguar XJS convertible is (like the XKE of the past) one of the most rare and sought after Jaguar collector models around, and a very pleasurable driving experience while you're waiting for it to go up in value! Heads will turn when you drive by in this elegant classic British convertible sports car as there are very few of these around! Wouldn't you like to drive a unique automobile that makes a statement. You can go through an entire summer and not see even one of these on the road!

The standard wheels as shown would be exchanged for the optional wire wheels for an additional $750.00 and added to the transaction total.
PLEASE NOTE: The authentic Jaguar wire set of wheels and tires (one shown in auction photo) are also available for purchase separately to any interested party that might want to acquire them as an elegant and attractive upgrade to their own Jaguar XJS. Retail replacement value on the combination of the wheels and tires is approximately $2,000.00.
