It pains me too sell this car as I have gotten attached to the car. I however have too much iron and want to do another 240D that I have waiting in the wings. I also have a life change coming and don't need to commute 60 Miles a day. So why am selling downsizing fleet and have another project. To the car: I am the second owner and the orignal owner loved this car. He put alot of effort and money into keeping this car rolling down the road. The drive train is very strong and would drive it anywhere without Hesitation at all about the car. The Underhood is great-NEW belts-hoses-alternator and battery. I also went thru all the filters and will adjust the valves and oil change before come to pick-up the car. This car is very happy running 65-75 down the highway on Diesel or WVO. I have had this car for two years and never ever failed me on the road. I installed the frybrid kit the first year and also did all the under hood maintance that made me comfortable to drive anywhere. This year did repair the driver side floor pan and replace LH rear Control arm. The car hasn't been driven by me in the winter time but rather put it in storage. The interior is clean and really pretty good condition. The exterior body is showing rust but nothing to extreme and isn't a eye sore. The under carrige does have some serious rust and is beyond any kind of repair. So with that being said the car is being SOLD IN AS CONDITION. The moneys are as follows-Takes 2500.00 at least to buy this car. The money lays out like this 2000.00 on Maintance and Frybrid Kit. 500.00 on the car. Basically your buying the car at scrap prices. I think the car will drive along time yet with proper maintance but I really can't be sure. If the undercarrige wasn't rusting would comand alot more $ on this fine car. The original owner removed the AC system saying cost too much money too run. He also disabled the Cruise control and never fiddle with this much as don't really do much highway driving. The car isn't perfect nor does every system work but its CHEAP transportation with WVO kit installed. The car for me was a science project that went better then planned and want to do another one in the near future. It needs a used cluster but speedomoter works and so does the clock. The fuel gauge and temp gauge do work but bounce. The odomoter does function all the time it works every once and a while but not all the time. The true mileage is not really known and make no claim to how many miles this car has on the drive train. The tires are in good condition I would say they are at 75% life left in them. The car does go down the road nice a smooth and very comfortable to drive in for me. The Passanger side floor pan is rusting out as well and was going to repair next year. The seat is still secure but you will have to give some attention to that side at some point-or not drive the White ghost till he dies. The point I have this car to now really don't need anything to be driven. The engine does either use or leak some oil between changes not anything out of normal but not enough to do anything about the car also starts very well and never failed me to start. Well anyway the white ghost is ready for a new owner. This is a pick-up only and Payment is too be either Pay Pal-US postal Money order-Cash.
