This classic 500SEC is an original American version (NO GREY MARKET)! I am the second owner (since 1996) and I've always garaged the car! It has a clean CarFax report! No dents, dings or scratches the original silver paint has a good shine (but under very close inspection, it is beginning to weaken just a bit). There are a very few touch-up spots that are hardly noticeable. Powerful V-8 engine and strong 4-speed automatic transmission. Car runs, drives and shifts like new. The 14" wheels have been replaced with 15" alloys and 15" Michelin tires, making for a very smooth ride! The black Leather Seats are in very good condition, with no rips, tears or worn spots the black Wool Carpet is excellent! The interior wood is in good shape, except for one small area on the drivers door that has a few hair-line cracks (see photo). No cracks in the dash the power sunroof works perfectly. The AC Heat work great as does the cruise control, power locks, dual power seats, power antenna. A few years ago I up-graded to European Headlights for a sleeker look (but I still have the original lights they come with the car). This is one fun car to drive and it so dependable, I would drive it across country at a minutes notice.
