I have up for auction a 1991 Oldsmobile 88 Royal. It is a 4 Door, Silver color with grey cloth interior. Before I explain all of its features I would like to explain the "Needs Work". Ok, I am running this vehicle for my mother. She had bought this car from her sister, to whom was the original buyer of this car in 1991. My mother let my brother drive it to pick up his girlfriend from work. On the way home he said that the Heater Coil busted. Which caused some kind of liquid to run out in the floor board on the passengers side of the car. When this happened my brother went to pull over on the side of the road (country road) and the right side of the car went down in a hole (which tall grass was grown up around the hole and he couldn't see it). Well, this is what caused the front end damage. Which is the front bumper and right front passenger side. When they hit that hole my brothers girlfriend hit the windshield with her head too (not wearing her seatbelt). So the windshield on the passengers side is also cracked. The car will start and it was running just fine before this little accident. My mom just parked the car after that happened and never bothered with fixing it, so it is still just sitting there beside the house in the yard. She had also just had new tires put on it also before this happened because she also had just had it inspected. There is also the little black rubber strip on the back door of the passenger side is missing too. Now, to recap what needs to be fixed....front bumper, right headlight and parking light, right front side over wheel, the windshield, rubber strip on back door passenger side. The heater coil, and right front tire needs replaced or plugged (because it went flat). I nor my mother are mechanics but that is all we see wrong and that is all that was told to us that needed to be fixed.
Now, for details of the car. It had wood trim inside. Cloth interior. It is a 4 door, with PW,PS, AM/FM cassette, PB, Air Bag, AC. Other than needing the heater coil and some body work on the front end and passenger side the car would be just fine. It would need to be towed away. I do not think it is drivable until that stuff listed above is fixed. The tire on the front passenger side did go flat after they hit that hole too. Everything else works just fine as far as we know. That was the only problems my mom ever had with this car. We figured someone could fix it back up or maybe use it for parts. It is still really to good of a car to just be sitting there in the yard. (This little mishap happened last summer so that is how long it has just been sitting). I would also like to add that since it has been sitting awhile it will need a good cleaning on the inside and out. I added many pictures to show everything the best that I could.
This car will be the buyers responsiblity to pick up and move away. It is also sold "AS IS" with No Warrenty. I will need $125.00 deposited in my PayPal account within 24 hours of end of auction, the rest of the winning amount will be paid at pick up of the car. This deposit is non refundable.
